See 2 posts back for the birth of this linguistic monstrosity of a game into the waiting world.
No blanks, no bothering with accents. I've also realised there should be another rule ... no proper names ... because then some smart git would write something like " Mae nhw ... and then a huge string of proper names to use up lots of the remaining letters ... they wouldn't even have to be Welsh names. Or "weles i ....
That up there is my best effort so far... I say it's a big challenge because you very quickly run out of D's, W's, Y's, U's etc... hence the attraction of Sion, Tegan, Ronald, Horace, Florence etc.
My only worry about that sentence up there is the Sul ... it ought to be Dydd Sul, but I'm sure I've seen it used without the Dydd colloquially. I'm not entirely sure about the legitimacy of hanner cant dau either ... I had the letters for dau to spare so I stuck them there hopefully! That was the case with eto and nesaf as well ...my strategy was, you get a basic sentence until you hit a bit of a wall, then you use the letters you've got left to pad it out a bit !
Seems sensible to me ... I have two other strategies which I'm not going to reveal yet, and probably won't deliver a result of any use in a finite time... which is a slight rhwystr bach admit.
Has anybody else had a go ? Does anyone know if Sul on it's own is colloquially OK?
I'm off to try alternative strategy A now ... I may be some time.
Anyway, enough of these worldy matters... let us ascend to the world of song ! With, of course, Cate Le bon and Meic Stephens and Bibopalwla ...
