His family had just got a new computer, and when he looked on it he found that his brother ,Perfect Peter, had written an essay for his teacher full of gushing praise and adulation. I couldn't photograph it because there was a sign up asking us to "refrain from using the camera facility on your mobile devices on these premises." But it started off something like this ... except it was in English...
Fy athrawes , Ms Cariad, mae hi cyfeillgar, rhyfeddol a deg . Mae hi yr athrawes y gorau yn y byd.
Well, this was a fine opportunity to get a bit of revenge on Perfect Peter, so Horrible Henry makes some simple changes !
Fy athrawes , Ms Tingeg, mae hi hyll, twp a sbeitlyd . Mae hi yr athrawes y gwaethaf yn y bydysawd !
Simple pleasures! You could pick any Welsh sentence you like ( or don't like) and change it into the opposite... the advantage being that you have much of the structure ready-made for you. Pam lai ?You will be glad to hear that lots of Horrid Henry books are gettable in Welsh.... huzzah ! Er enghraifft ...
